Our 2024/2025 Season Registration is LIVE!!

On Saturday, September 7th, 2024, the award winning San Fernando Valley Youth Chorus will begin its 2024/2025 Season, providing music education along with opportunities to perform in local and seasonal events, make friends and have fun.

At the Chorus all levels are welcome! Our Concert Choir, 3rd grade to 12th grade, meets on Saturdays, 10:00 am to 12:00 p.m., in Canoga Park/West Hills. While our Kinder Choir, which invites the younger singers, Kindergarten to 2nd grade, will meet from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. We’re excited to offer a music program for the littlest voices who love music. This class is called “Mini Maestros,” and its members will meet at the Canoga Park/West Hills location from 10:00 am to 10:45 am.

Tuition is just $50 a month for the Concert Choir and $40 a month for the Kinder Choir and Mini Maestros. Sibling discounts are available as is financial assistance for those who qualify.

SFVYC benefits from the leadership of Artistic Director Marisa Bradfield. Ms. Bradfield is a professional artist who has been active in the Los Angeles choral community for twenty years. With extensive experience working with young singers, she holds a Master of Arts degree in Music Education and a Teaching Credential from the University of Southern California. Music Director Marla Lowery directs both the Kinder Choir and Tiny Tunes.

Vocal Coaching With Marla Lowrey!
Tuition: half-hour lesson: $30
Must be enrolled in Concert or Kinder Choir. Eligible SFVYC students may apply for scholarships

  • One-on-One vocal coaching with an emphasis on correct breathing, using the full voice, and improving tone quality and production.

  • All levels: Beginning, Intermediate, Advanced.

  • Repertoire taught will vary and depend on student ability and needs.

  • Teaching Methodology: based on the Bel Canto style of singing.
